Google Acquires QuickOffice

Most likely in a stronger effort to boost functionality for it’s newly releases Google Drive, Google announced today that they have acquired Quick Office. Quick Office made a name for themselves by providing business productivity solutions via a downloadble app that granted users access to mobile versions of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. It’s going to be interesting to see how Google integrates Quick Office and it’s existing users into one complete Google experience, and I’m even more curious to see how this latest acquisition will be integrated into Google Drive services.
