The Miz is out first and gets a little heel heat before sitting ringside for the match. Something tells me he’ll play a role in the outcome of this match. Ryback gets going early, nailing the Big Show with a Meathook clothesline, and then a clothesline to the outside of the ring. Ryback hops out and snatches The Miz out of his chair and then throws him across the announce table. Big Show and Ryback get back in the ring and The Big Show nails Ryback with a Spear. Big Show goes on the offensive, knocking Ryback down at every turn. Big Show goes for a Chokeslam and Ryback reverses it into an Armbar. Big Show makes it to the ropes and Ryback breaks the hold. Both men get back to their feet and Ryback hits Show with a vertical suplex. Ryback sets up for the Meat Hook, but runs dead into a Chokeslam and a quick two count. Ryback gets back up and tries to dodge a Knockout punch, but catches one anyway and rolls to the outside. Big Show gets out of the ring and gets right in The Miz’s face, before rolling Ryback back into the ring. The Miz rolls in right after Big Show and attack him with the microphone. The Ref calls the match due to DQ. Big Show gets the win, but Ryback retains.
Winner: Big Show by DQ
Seriously, I couldn’t have picked this PPV any worse.
John Cena v Kevin Owens:
Ok Kiddies, it’s go time. The bell rings and the crowd is extra HOT for Kevin Owens. We start with a tie up and an irish whip. Cena nails Owens with a shoulder block to get the advantage. Owens is back up and tags Cena with a shoulder block of his own. Cena goes for a Wristlock but Owens nails him with a straight right punch and a kick to the gut. Cena answers with an explosive clothesline. Owens takes the advantage and comes out with a couple of shoulder blocks ala John Cena. Owens then dumps Cena on his back and poses for the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Owens gets Cena up and hits him with a code breaker. Cena gets back up and hits Owens with a Backdrop of his own followed by a Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena then goes for an AA, but Owens reverses into a German Suplex followed by a corner senton. Cena gets back into offense mode, but Owens drops him again with a Death Valley Driver. Owens hits the top rope for a Senton Bomb attempt, but Cena gets the knees up. Cena turns the tables on Owens and ends up hitting him with an Electric Chair Drop followed by an AA for a really close two count. Cena gets in the refs face because he thought it was a three count. Cena gets Owens on the top rope, in a top rope AA attempt but Owens counters into a spinning Sitout Powerbomb. Owens gets Cena up into a Pop-Up PowerBomb, but Cena counters with a Hurricanrana, which Owens rolls into the corner and counters a rush in by Cena with a Superkick. This match is crazy and intense, and fast paced. They’re both moving at a lightning pace. Owens drops Cena with a muscle buster, and heads to the top rope for a Moonsault attempt. Cena rolls out-of-the-way, and nails Owens with another AA, and an extremely close two count! Cena is positioning Owens on the top rope again, and Owens again counters with a top rope Brainbuster! Another close two count.
Owens is back up and looking to pounce, but runs right into an STF from John Cena. Cena gets Owens up and hits him with a School Boy Powerbomb and another two count. Owens regrouped, then catches Cena slipping and hits him with a Pop-Up Powerbomb. Again a two count. Owens is now barking at Cena, telling him to stay down. Of course Cena won’t comply, and literally seconds later Cena tags Owens with a botched Springboard Stunner. This is followed up by an AA and a three count for the win.
Winner: John Cena
Cena tries to show some respect and sportsmanship, but of course Owens kicks Cena in the gut, and hits him with an Apronbomb outside the ring. Owens then takes both belts and holds them high. Folks I think we could very well be headed into a Title vs Title match.
