Never Wet Makes Sure Your Belongings Are….. Never Wet

When I first watched this video, my eyes literally bugged out of my head in sheer amazement of what I had just witnessed.

Manufactured by Ross Nanotechnologies, Never Wet takes water resistance to an entirely new level, and into the literal waterproof stage. As the above video explains, most materials, devices, clothing etc are all designed to repel water, and other liquids but most fail to do the job. With Never Wet and it’s super hydrophobic coating technology, any material with the proper treatment will cause just about any sort of liquid to not just simply bead and reduce the amount of penetration into materials, but it totally prevents it. This brings about the possibility of entirely water proof clothing, electronics, and just about anything imaginable with the proper application. As with any “magical” treatment there’s always a caveat, and in this case there’s two: Soap and alcohol. These two materials do penetrate the finish that Never Wet provides, but slap some plain old water on there after it contacts either of these two liquids and it miraculously regains it’s anti liquid properties.

Imagine for a second, being able to have one of your gadgets share the same water proof qualities as the items used above for testing. That would be amazingly awesome. Would any of you consider buying a device that’s Never Wet treated? Better yet, are we ready for the price associated with a device that’s Never Wet treated?
