AMC Orders Up Another 16 Episodes Of The Walking Dead

Looks like things are just getting started for officer Rick Grimes and his rag tag gang of zombie busters. AMC has just confirmed that they have opted to buy into another 16 episodes of hit TV show, The Walking Dead. This comes off the heels of a wildly successful season one, and halfway through season two which has garnered critical acclaim for it’s gripping story lines. This move shows that AMC is committed to putting the big bucks behind this mega-hit as previous season orders have only been for between 7 (season one) and 13 (season two) episodes. I, for one, am super excited and cannot wait for season two to resume after it’s mid-season break.

New episodes begin airing on AMC Sunday, February 12th @ 9/8/central.
