The God of mischief returns to Disney+ this fall.
Loki season 2 is set to debut on Disney+ on October 6th. The plot looks to pick up where last season left off, in the aftermath of Loki and Sylvie’s conflict with “He who remains.” Of course, by now, we know that “He Who Remains” is one of many variants of Kang The Conquerer, currently played by Jonathan Majors. Majors is embroiled in a bitter domestic abuse case and hasn’t been seen much since his role in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. It was a pleasant surprise to see his small cameo near the end of the trailer and it could be a silver lining in his prospects to continue playing Marvel’s next big bad.
In the trailer, we see Mobius and Loki visiting an employee of the TVA for assistance with an issue Loki has recently developed. It’s referred to as “time-jumping” in the trailer, but it looks awfully similar to Miles’s “glitching” in the Spiderverse films.
Check out the trailer below, and get ready to see the next chapter in Loki and Kang The Conquerer’s collision.
