Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Will Feature Every Smash Bros. Character Ever

1 min read

Nintendo officially unveiled their new Smash Bros. game today during E3. The game will be called ‘Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’ and will feature the largest roster ever in a Smash Bros. game. That’ll bring the roster total to 60 fighters, all from Nintendo’s most storied franchises. While gamers might be expecting a Smash Bros. port, this title will be all-new. Re-worked from the ground up to ensure a unique experience.

The game itself isn’t the only thing getting an overhaul though, as Nintendo is also completely revamping the characters. Each character will receive a makeover in terms of how they move, how they fight, and how they interact with the environments. This was done in an effort to make the game run more smoothly, while also increasing the fluidity of the combat. The characters will also look more like the modern versions of themselves, but there is a possibility of retro alternate skins as well.

There’ll also be a few new stages making their debut in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The Great Plateau Tower from Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild and the cityscape from Splatoon 2 will be included in the game.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be released on December 7th. Check out a handy Super Smash Bros. Ultimate companion video below!
