Battlefield 4 Gameplay Just Blew My Mind

One of my favorite games from last year was EA’s Battlefield 3. I loved how realistic the graphics were, and most importantly, for the first time in a while, actual damage physics were implemented into a FPS. I loved watching pieces of buildings crumble shortly after I’d fire a rocket into them, and the resulting destruction added an entirely new level of chaos to the game. The driving force behind the realism of Battlefield 3 was DICE’s Frostbite engine, and their commitment to change the way environment affects your gaming. DICE has something much bigger planned for the next entry in the Battlefield franchise, Battlefield 4 and they recently showcased the power of the Frostbite 3 engine in a short video posted to their YouTube page.

DICE was successful in shaking things up last time, but with the revamped Frostbite engine they could destroy everything in their path. Check out the clip below.
