Just moments ago, Nintendo took the wraps off it’s next gen gaming console, the NIntendo Wii U. November 18th will be the official launch date for the system and there was plenty of info dished about it’s capabilities. Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, gushed about the new system stating that the launch titles for the Wii U will be “The strongest for any Nintendo system to date.” The Wii U will be available in two different options: A $299 model which will give gamers the console and the Wii U Gamepad controller, or a $349.99 model which comes with the console, a Gamepad controller, a stand for the system, a charging cradle for the controller, and a copy of the Wii U game title Nintendo Land.

The console isn’t just a gaming system however, as Nintendo also revealed their content streaming service Nintendo TVii(cute spelling Nintendo). Nintendo TVii will allow users to bring all their content together in one place and watch Tv shows, Movies, and sports events either from your TV set, or the built in screen on the Gamepad. Compatible services include Hulu Plus, Netflix, and TiVo DVR systems.

The Nintendo Wii U will hit store shelves here in the states on Novemember 18th in the US, November 30th in the UK, and December 8th in Japan.
